In this fast paced life we come
across many difficulties that need quick judgement and decision. Our decision
at that particular time will make bring out the real courage within us and will
reveal our power and capabilities. Nothing on this earth is totally perfect,
there are always chances of transformation, a real courageous person is someone
who is firm with his/her decision and doesn’t worry about the transformations
related to it. That person knows only one thing, that he is right and nothing
on earth can stop him/her from doing so.
Here I am going to share some
thoughts on courage and how you can increase it through little change in your
daily activities. Courage plays an important role in defining someone’s
personality, if you can show the right amount of courage at the right time,
then you can be a person of great demand. Some situations are made and some
arise unknowingly and it is your courage that will help you to find out a
desired solution for the situation.
WHAT IS COURAGE?
A courageous person is someone who is never afraid of any situation and is always ready to get the job done. There is a misconception in many people that courageous are those who can fight and win (physically). I would like to clear it out that the above concept is totally wrong. Let me some real life examples to clear out what is courage:
- Courage is when a person with no hands, passes the entrance by writing with his legs.
- Courage is when you raise your voice against social crime, abuse and teasing.
- Courage also lies in helping a blind man cross a busy road.
- Courage is to stand beside your family when there is any crisis.
- Courage is to stand against your senior who takes bribes.
- Courage is when a woman who struggles a lot and becomes the voice of nation.
- Courage lies in that boy who dreams to become the most renowned wildlife photographer while he is studying engineering.
- Courageous is a person who can change the whole atmosphere of a place with his words.
- Courage is when you fight for a cause and stick to last.
- Courage is when you say “I LOVE YOU’’ to the person whom you love the most(of course with a red rose).
- Courage is when you set a target that you will give your parents the most luxurious life, when you realise that everything you are is only because of them.
- Courage is when you fail in your entrance exam, and you fight back “doubly redoubled’’.
- Courage is to help a strange man reach a hospital after being seriously injured in an accident.
- Courage is what our freedom fighters have done for our nation.
- Courage is when a traffic police stops all the vehicles just to save the life of a small puppy.
- Courage is when you dare to think beyond the rules and regulations.
- Courage is when a father says to his children that I will be always there for you all.
- Courage is when you save your friend from being punished taking the guilt on yourself.
- Courage is when a person climbs the Mount Everest when no one even imagined of doing something of that sort.
- Courage is when a girl aims of becoming an IPS officer after being harassed by some rascals.
- Courage is to hit a six in the last ball and get the match trophy.
- Courage is when you start planning to crack the impossible.
There is a story behind every
single line mentioned above and the clearly elaborate “what is courage?’’ It is
rightly said that “Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It is seeing the
possibility of your demise, and, doing your work anyway’’.
Where there are several reasons
to be courageous there are several that make you coward, I will always advice
you that don’t involve yourself in any such activities that will bring a sense
of fear within you, it is then you start becoming coward and your courage
declines.
HOW TO INCREASE COURAGE?
There isn’t any medicine or exercise that will help you gain courage it is your life and activities that will help you to become courageous. Let’s see:
- Increase your capabilities. Make every day better than yesterday. Gain knowledge and make sure that while gaining it you are completely able to implement it at the right time.
- Be healthy, because when your health is good, you get an extra bit of confidence and that will boost your courage.
- Be expressive, don’t be an introvert. Speak out louder and clear.
- Don’t lose hope, because it can damage you from within. Motivate yourself and always say to yourself: “I can do it. Yes I can’’.
- Look up, aim high and think big the most important 3 to bring real courage.
- Don’t be confused even if you cannot find any particular solution for a problem. Understand properly, take your time, gather the necessities and strike back with cent per cent effort.
- Help others and keep a check on your limits.
- Don’t do mistakes knowingly.
- Be positive, think positive and act positive, but always keep a little room for the negative factors which will keep you from being over confident and in turn will help you to utilise your courage in right way.
- Never underestimate yourself, and don’t avoid any difficulty.
- Courage is what you gain from time to time so patience is your sword to win the battle and achieving maximum courage.
- Never quit, if there is any risk, allow some transformation as I have stated earlier, but never back out.
- Stay focused, successful are those who take it slow and do it rightly.
There can be several other ways
through which you can boost your courage, and you will be able to get all of
them if you are determined and true to yourself. Courage makes you outstanding
and helps in every filed of life. Share the courageous moments of your life,
your comments are and will always be valuable.
